Jerome dominates home tri-meet

Mackanzie Chojanacky is simply better than the competition. Significantly better. Chojnacky turned in a time of 19 minutes, 59.9 seconds at the 
Jerome Cross Country Tri-meet on Thursday, bettering the pack by more than 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, Jerome's boys swept the second through seventh spots to help the Tigers sweep the team titles in the three-squad affair.

Tyler Tolman led Jerome, finishing second in 18:05.7. Eddie Escobedo was third, Logan Parker fourth and Eric Tolman fifth.

Jerome's Mikesell Clegg was second on the girls side in 22:11.
