Chojnacky takes Jerome Invite
Mackenzie Chojnacky won the girls varsity race at the Jerome Invitational cross country
meet on Thursday. Chojnacky led four Jerome girls home in order, with Mikesell Clegg
second, Jasmine Nesbitt third and Aubree Callen fourth.
Irene Lotspiech of Middleton spoiled a perfect score for Jerome, coming in fifth. The Tigers
won the team title with 16 points.
Middleton's Cody Fivecoat took the boys race in 17 minutes, 54 seconds. Eriberto
Escobedo of Jerome crossed four seconds later to help the Tigers to a 10-point team win.
