Regional Championships

Walnut, California December 6, 2003

Team Idaho is again planning to take a bus to California for the Footlocker Regional meet.  This year it will be hosted in Walnut California.  We are expecting our usual turnout this year, so please review this information as soon as possible.  We have a limited number of seats available.  Call Tim Severa at (208) 344-5501 for further information.

 

>Bus Leaves:   Thursday December 4th the Boise Group will leave from the Downtown YMCA in Boise at 7:00 a.m. sharp!!!   Please be ready and on time.  There will be a second bus that will leave Idaho Falls at 8:00 a.m. and travel to Pocatello to pick-up kids from Pocatello at 9:15 a.m. at the Pocatello Creek Exit near the Red Lion! 

 

<Buses Returns:      Sunday Dec. 7th at about 5-6pm

 

Hotels:             We will be staying in Las Vegas, Nevada the first night (Thurs) and on the return trip on Saturday. On Friday we will be staying in Walnut, California.  We should arrive  in Walnut at about 1 p.m. on Friday.

Race                 You are responsible to send in your own race registration.  They do not allow late entries,

>Clothing:         Weather in Walnut is about 50 to 70 degrees; great running weather!  It does rain there some so be prepared for that.  Weather getting to California can be extremely cold so bring extra clothing.

Coaches:         We will need help supervising this group.  Contact Tim Severa if you are interested in going.

>Behavior:        Since there is such a large group, we will expect your best behavior.  There will be 4-6 coaches  per bus on the trip to give you all the help you might need.  The coaches are looking out for the best interests of the group collectively and individually.  We want you to have fun, but make sure that your fun is appropriate!
