8/28 Saucony XC Scramble--E. Armstrong (Poc) started where he left off last year, winning big over younger brother in
course record 16:15.  Despite Pocatello getting to Armstrong cousins from Utah the Madison Boys showed they are for real
winning over Pocatello 51-54.  Idaho Falls girls look impressive backing up their performance from last years State 4th place
trophy.  R. McGovern (Poc) wins girls race over A. Dyer (IF) in 20:23.
8/30 Camel's Back--Mountain View boys dominate sweeping places 3-9, led by S. Berg. A. Fred of Middleton beats D.

Mountain View 41-66.
8/30 Jimmy Driscoll--E. Hamlin (Boise) shows she is the one to beat in 5A as she dominates Driscoll in 18:13 to M.
Malaspina (Vall) 19:08.  Boise girls also look great scoring 26 points to Capital's 55.  Boise's M. Sewall nips N. Hamilton (Vall)
by 3 seconds, but Vallivue takes down defending champ Capital 49-53.
9/4 West Jefferson Inv.--Rigby boys get out quick and win over Sugar-Salem 27-38.  2A Billy Godfrey (Sal) wins in 16:30.

Idaho XC Week 2
9/4 Caldwell Twilight--Vallivue boys do it again, winning over Rocky Mountain and Boise. D. Stucker (Mer) goes #1, 10
seconds better than M. Sewall (Boise) in 15:38.  Boise girls do it again also, led by #1 E. Hamlin and a super fast 17:49.  M.
Malaspina (Vall) second almost a minute back.  Emily Hamlin is for real, I'm saying right now: She's one of the best in the
country.
9/6 Cardinal Classic--Bozeman wins girls race, but Shelley shines finishing 2nd, as does Madison 3rd. A. Dyer (IF) is top
Idaho girl in 3rd and Freshman R. Morrin (Madison) 5th. Idaho Falls girls finish fourth.  It looks to be a good battle in southeast
Idaho between IF and Madison this year.  Wood Cross boys win with Madison a close second. Pocatello led by overall Classic
champion E. Armstrong finishes 5th, and Idaho Falls 6th.
9/3 New Plymouth Inv.--Melba girls led by S. Manzer score 40 for the win over McCall-Donnelly's 81. I assume brother to
S. Manzer, Rylan Manzer wins the boys race 17:05, as Melba is second to Ontario, Or.
